Annually Columbia University hosts the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) conference for publication students to receive their awards, learn tips and gain fresh ideas about the field that they can bring back home.

Columbia Crown finalists are eligible for the Silver or Gold Crown awards and the winners will be announced March, 16. The Feather currently has won one Silver Crown and two Gold. Judging for the 2011-2012 school year was completed in February 2012.
