After the Downtown Fresno Human Race at Eaton Plaza, that included a 5k (3.1 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles) race for runners or walkers to compete in to donate money for various organizations, a festival was run the congratulate participants for their effort, Sept. 9.
The Human Race was run by Hands On Central California, along with the festival in an effort to get the community involved in local events. At the festival, Downtown Fresno portrait painter, Ma Ly, sets up a booth so locals can have portraits painted of themselves. Many organizations and businesses set up booths so they could advertise and sell items at the festival.
For more information about Ma Ly, read the Feb. 9 article Notable figures a trademark of Colligo Studio.
