To kick off Spirit Day, the FC student body assembled at 5:30 a.m. on Homecoming Day for a morning rally, covered by Amanda Venegas from channel ABC30, Oct. 26. The assembly aired off and on between 6:10 a.m. and 6:45 a.m.
Venegas interviewed McKay Mohun, '13, to get an idea of what the football team is feeling as the game approaches and to introduce viewers to the senior football players. Brandon McCormick, '13, also talked to Venegas about his team's excitement about homecoming and the game against the Immanuel Eagles.
FC's marching and jazz bands played typical football game songs such as the "Grand Entry Swing March" and the FC fight song. Colorguard and the cheerleading squad performed to the band's songs in preparation for the game and to show viewers the talent exercised at FC for special events such as homecoming.

Waking up early enough to be there made me so tired. I just wanted to take a nap in some classes.
