I'm amazed that it is already my senior year and will be my third year in journalism. It only seems like yesterday that I was sitting in Mr. Stobbe's lecture about being a journalist. Since then, I've come a long way and have improved tremendously in my writing skills, but they still need refining.
Although this is my last year in high school, I have decided that this year will be better than every other. I plan to enjoy every moment with friends and classmates even when we are all stressed during finals.
There are many aspects of journalism that I enjoy such as being connected to all areas of school, even if I personally am not involved. Also, I am learning life-long skills that will benefit my future.
In my free time I enjoy sports, especially watching the San Francisco Giants; my entire family are huge fans like myself. Aside from watching baseball, I also play softball in the spring as a catcher. When school is not monopolizing my time, I prefer to spend it with friends, relaxing after a stressful week.
These are some of my favorite things:
--Favorite TV shows: "Modern Family," "Royal Pains," "The Closer," "In Plain Sight," "Friends" and "Chuck."
--Favorite movies: I love almost all movies I see, but these movies I can spend hours watching: "Forrest Gump" and the "Bourne" trilogy.
--Favorite music: "Huey Lewis and the News," "Pink" and "Colbie Caillat"
