The Feather Online has been a daily newspaper since 2001, covering Fresno Christian High School community’s news, features, sports, opinions and entertainment. The 2010-2011 staff utilized 34 staff members. While the staff won its third National Scholastic Press Association Online Pacemaker in 2010 (2006 and 2008), the Feather did not qualify for the NSPA’s top award in 2011.

However, for the first time since its online debut in 1998, The Feather won a Gold Crown from Columbia Scholastic Press Association (NYC) as one of CSPA’s top seven high school newspapers in the United States in March 2010.

Last year (2009) the staff won its first Silver Crown. The Feather Online has won numerous awards over the past five years, including Pacemaker finalists five years in a row as one of the NSPA’s top online papers in the United States. With dawn breaking over the Fresno Arch in downtown Fresno, most of the 2010-11 staff met photographer Tom Milne for the annual yearbook photo in early November 2010.
