The inner child of ‘Sesame Street’

On this day in history, a phenomenon broke loose. Yes, Sesame Street made its debut on the screen. How many of you watched this show as a kid? With all the bright colors and letters of the day, we learned so much didn’t we?

Who can forget at the end of every show, “This show was brought to you by the letter _____ (fill in the blank).” We don’t know about you, but come on, that was the best way to learn the alphabet.

Even though we, now as big, bad high schoolers, think we are too cool for all of this, we all secretly miss sitting at home watching our favorite shows. In these years of high school when we all try to grow up so fast, take a couple minutes to think back from when you were little. How easily entertained we were by giant yellow birds, rubber duckys, and fuzzy animals living in trash cans?

Our piece of advice for this blog, don’t lose your inner child! Don’t do it! Keep sight of that sweet innocent child that your parents love. Honestly, we are growing up a lot in this time of our lives, try to remember what it was like to be a little kid. Easily entertained and naive.
