MISSION: Coffee and cake (VLOG)

Here is the eighth vlog of Fresno Mythbusters.

We are exploring new places in the Fresno/Clovis area for teens to hang out because we seem to think that River Park is the only suitable place. This is our eighth attempt to bust that myth.

Much like River Park, Starbucks is very much a “go-to” place; “Let’s meet at Starbucks to study,” “We’ll talk at Starbucks over a cup of coffee,” “Let’s meet at Starbucks and go from there.” Starbucks, Starbucks, Starbucks! (As I’m drinking iced coffee from… yeah.)

After deciding to also bust that myth, we began to scout out a new coffee hangout with a good atmosphere and, of course, good coffee.

Since our first episode of Fresno Mythbusters was in the Tower District (and to be honest, kind of a failure), we began our search in the area. It wasn’t long until we found Café Corazon.

We also found a great cupcake bakery a couple doors down called the Frosted Cakery. The flavors are wild and it’s own by our very own — a ’94 FC alumna!
