KMPH television sportscaster Ralph Wood and crew were on campus to film a sports segment on the varsity boys' basketball team, Feb. 9.

Wood, KMPH TV sports director and nightly sports anchor of the FOX 26 Ten O'Clock News, had previously showcased the Eagles in two separate broadcasts during the evening sports coverage. The first feature was titled, Sweet 16! Fresno Christian Basketball Wins Again while the second was called Eagles Cruise While Knights Bruise. This time, however, the sports crew came to FC's practice to see what goes on behind the scenes.

KMPH's Jessob Reisbeck and crew were on hand to interview coach Josh Justin and seniors Brady Lee and Cooper Belmont, promoting their 19-game winning streak and Senior Night, Feb. 10.

The TV crew asked the boys and coach about their season, playing together for most of their high school careers and why this season has gone so well. Lee also was asked to demonstrate one of his favorite card tricks on air.

The boys will take on the Caruthers Blue Raiders in an attempt to win their 20th consecutive game, Feb. 10. The visitors will be sure to challenge the Eagles as FC defeated the Blue Raiders earlier in the season, 56-30, Jan. 24.

The Senior Night festivities will begin after the girls Senior Night game is over, sometime around 7:30 p.m. Game time for the boys is scheduled for 8 p.m. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. and their ceremony will begin around 5:45 p.m.

The Magic of teamwork

KMPH did an outstanding job of capturing both the success the Eagles team has had this year as well as the family feel and connection these players and their coaches have. Congrats to Coach Justin and his team. Well done!
