Sophomore Bobby Christopher and senior Zedekiah Fries completed a video productions "quote" video and used chess as their stage. The project was about taking movie quotes and reusing them in a way that gave new meaning to the phrase.
Originally the duo had no idea about how to go about making this video because it proved quite a challenge to only speak in quotes. However, sophomore Jimmy Chang had the idea to make a video about chess because it would not only be simple and easy to film, it would be hilarious to watch.
Once the group decided on a theme, the new challenge of choosing quotes and lines that would flow together became eminent. Through the filming process, they had a difficult time keeping straight faces because of the ridiculousness that occurred either during or in between shots.
Overall Fries believes the video was a success because it used over 30 movie quotes while retaining a hilarious interesting plot line. The boys believed they could have added even more movie quotes that does not have any dialogue and they could have been filled with interesting conversations or monologues.

"I will keep producing videos in college," Fries said, "but I don't plan on enrolling in a video class. It takes a lot of time and commitment and currently I am planning on double majoring in music and psychology at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington."
Fries said that the biggest challenge in film-making for him relying on others to complete their parts in a timely fashion while pursuing excellence.
"I have enough knowledge of the filming arts to do it well recreationally," Fries said. "I hope to start a YouTube-like channel while in college to give a behind-the-scenes look at dorm life like guys just doing dumb guys stuff. Stay tuned for more."
