For the first time in school history, the FC cheerleaders earned a National title. After a year of preparation, the lady Eagles attended the United Spirit Association (USA), National Cheer competition, March 7-9, and won the Varsity Performance Cheer Division.
The girls' season began at the end of the 2007 spring semester and continued throughout the summer while they attended Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC) cheer camp.
While the cheerleaders won the Spirit Award (Grand Champs) over the summer, the start of the school year began a rough road full of obstacles. Despite injuries throughout the year, the girls came together and executed two flawless routines at Nationals.
For more information on this historic story, read Benjamin Dang's March 12 article, "Cheer USA Nationals 2008 champions".

This shows you what you can accomplish when God is in it.
I am coach Katie's mom and am very proud of her and the squad. They caught the vision that FCS could win a National Championship with the right motivation, hard work and giving all the glory to our Lord.
Way to Kate and cheer girls; you are putting FCS on the map! Many blessings to you all!
