Position: Editor-in-chief, retired
Joined the Feather: 2006
My name is above this paragraph.
I joined in 2006. You can do the math.
I joined journalism ? I can't remember why I joined journalism. It was so long ago, figuratively and literally.
I am really not a surly, choppy person. Just succinct. Not really. I should be more succinct, with all the writing I do. But I'm blabbering ? more about me:
My hugest goal is to become a great American author. There is no greater compliment for an author than what has been said of Elie Wiesel's Night: "a slim volume of terrifying power."
Since I was a freshman reporter, it has always been my dream to be the editor-in-chief of The Feather. It's taken lots of blood, sweat and tears, but I have learned so much through my three years. In my last hopefully I can lead the paper to another Pacemaker victory!
Things I love:
Jesus (above everything)
My family
My friends
Writing books
Carmel
Windy gray days
House
The feeling of curly hair
Guacamole
The Feather
Traveling
Taking French from Madame Lumeya
Annoying my sister
Ariel Leve
Things I hate:
Incorrectly used apostrophes
Not winning a Pacemaker
Indecisiveness
The fact that on the '60s TV show Get Smart, you never know Agent 99's real name
