Hello, my name is Kaitlyn King (also known as the Keebler Elf or just Keebs) and I am 16 years old. This is my seventh year attending FC and have loved all the great experiences I've had.

This is my second semester in a journalism class and I am in charge of maintaining the Interactive Poll for the Feather. (So there may be a time this year that I get to interview you for it!!)

I love journalism and the crazyness that comes from both Mr. Stobbe and the class. Journalism makes me strive to become a better writer and a better student.

I have two sisters: Julianne is 18 who is now attending college at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA and Jennifer who is 13 and is currently in the eighth grade. So as you can see, I am the middle child.

One of my favorite sports to play is soccer. I play both midfield and defense positions. I enjoy playing the game with my friends and being able to have a great time during practices and games. Other than school and sports, I love to bake (hence the name Keebler). This is a really bad habit that I have made, but I enjoy to bake cookies, pies, cupcakes...pretty much any kind of dessert.

This year I have dedicated myself to take more challenging classes that will build me to become a better student. I'm hoping that it will be a beneficial year for me and that I achieve what the Lord has in store for my future.
