Sophomore Alina Davila will play three varsity sports in her first year at Fresno Christian.

Alina Davila, a Sophomore at Fresno Christian, playing two varsity sports, Davila stays busy during each week. In order to meet more people, Davila made the decision to get involved right away when she came to FC. Starting the year with tennis and basketball, she plans to finish the year with softball. Next year, Davila would like to get involved in ensemble or worship team.

Playing the piano has been Davila’s passion since she was 11. She is now taking classes from Susan Ainley after school.

Davila came from Caruthers High and now travels 30 minutes to school every day.

“At first it was really hard going to a new school for my second year of high school,” Davila said, “But its gotten easer, people here are way more accepting and willing to make new friends.”

The ability to pray freely throughout the day, worship at chapel and have teachers open each class with prayer are a few things Davila enjoys about going to Fresno Christian.
