Vicky Belmont creates a painting out of tempera paint to show art classes one and two their next assignment, Feb. 2.

First year art teacher Vicky Belmont creates a monochromatic painting as a demonstration for her art classes.

Working at Fresno Christian for five years as the administration secretary, and the HS leadership teacher, Belmont decided to apply for a new position this year.

“Throughout my life, I’ve always loved to create things,” Belmont said. “Helping kids understand art, and watching them enjoy my class is the best part of my job.”

Art classes I and II will soon be working on tessellations while art III students will be working on their art portfolios independently.
