Students celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing  green clothing, March 17.

St. Patrick’s Day originated in Ireland and is a celebration of Saint Patrick. Patrick was the foremost patron saint of the country. Another name for today is the Feast for Saint Patrick.

The celebration has been taken part in around the world and has created many memories. Brooklynn Ainley, ’17, enjoys the celebration because of all the past memories she has made.

“When I was younger my friend’s grandma would always give us gifts, ” Ainley said. “She use to even dye the toilet water green and feed us food that was dyed green.”
