Head varsity baseball coach, Noah Heinz, encourages his players and gives them advice during each game, March 24.
Noah Heinz’ high school baseball career began in 1997 as third baseman at Clovis West High School. He played third baseman at Clovis West until 2000. In 2002 he played pitcher and third baseman at The Masters College.
Elementary teacher and coach, Noah Heinz, loves all aspects of coaching baseball.
“I love leading a Christ centered baseball program. I pray that we have an impact and that God is able to work through our team as witnesses for him,” Heinz said. “We pray before every game, ‘Lord, when they look at us, we hope they see you.’ and we try to hold ourselves to the standard for every team we meet.”
Heinz’ experience as a coach began in 2010 as the head JV coach for Hoover High. He continued for the next two years being Clovis North High School’s freshman coach and then began coaching at FC. In 2012 Heinz became varsity head coach of Fresno Christian. Beginning in 2009, he coaches Central Cal Baseball Academy as the head coach.
Baseball player, Tyler Villines, ’18, enjoys the family atmosphere and leadership in the team.
“Coach Heinz tells you exactly what you did wrong and exactly how to fix it which is so helpful. It truly makes me into a better player,” Villines said. “He is a great coach because he is extremely passionate about the game. He brings intensity and a desire to win to the team.”
