Coach, Noah Heinz leads students in prayer in their pre-game huddle, Oct. 10.

Elementary flag football boys pray together before beginning their game against Carden, Oct. 10. The team, now 5-1 in the PAL league, pushes through towards the end of the season.

Coach and sixth-grade teacher, Noah Heinz finds hope for success for the rest of the season and following years.

“I am very pleased with how we’ve grown as a team over the last few weeks,” Heinz said. “We started with a tough loss, but have since won 5 straight and should be the 2 seed going into the tournament. The future looks bright for the team as well, there are lots of 5th graders starting this year that will be returning next year including our quarterback, Sam Rieker.”

The boy’s next game will be at home against OLPH on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Come out and support your eagles!
