Sophomores discuss ideas for NOTS, Feb. 16.

HS leadership is currently planning Night of the Stars (NOTS), Feb. 16.

The class plans months ahead for one of the school’s biggest events. The class works together to decide on decorations and vote on the theme for the night.

Leb by teachers Aubri Foster and Robert Foshee, the class organize every event on campus such as homecoming, Chinese new year, NOTS and sadies.

Students from each class join leadership to represent their fellow classmates. They are able to present ideas and contribute to school activities.

A weekly leadership class consists of meetings on Monday, discussing upcoming events and plans. The rest of the week students use their creativity to make posters for sports, senior nights, and special events to place throughout the school hallways and gyms.

Leadership counts as a Bible credit for students, to include Bible teaching, they memorize scripture and study similar topics that Christian Living learns.

Students are graded upon participation, Bible verses and their attendance at events.
