About the Author:

Wesley Hinton
First year video journalist, Wesley Hinton, ‘20, plans to hone his filmmaking skills over the ‘18-’19 school year. If it’s a Saturday or merely a half day at school, it’s likely you’ll find him with his family and friends at Millerton Lake, wakesurfing. Hinton loves playing keyboard for the school worship team, and leading worship at his church. It’s one of his passions. He also loves serving the community through mentoring junior highers at Fresno Christian in brother to brother, a social mentoring program designed to build relationships and school community. Another citywide outreach he is involved in is Breakaway, where Hinton learned a different perspective of the city of Fresno and the opportunities available. Hinton aspires to eventually own a business, knowing video will help him with marketing and promoting a business, Hinton also strives to use film to uncover truth and speak life to the community. On The Feather, Hinton hopes to improve his camera, video and journalistic skills.
