Hydro Flask owners personalize their water bottle with unique stickers and accessories, Jan. 25.

This water bottle craze began last year, with hydro flasks continuing to grow in popularity with the wide variety of colors and sizes available.

Hydro Flask bottles are stainless steel, vacuum insulated water bottles that can be personalized 183,456 different ways. There are 11 sizes, two  lid types, four parts and more than 14 colors available on My Hydro website.

Sophomore Faith Monroy uses her personalized water bottle daily and believes the expensive price tag is worth the purchase.

“I like my Hydro Flask because it’s very useful,” Monroy said. “I think it’s worth the price because it keeps my water cold and encourages me to drink more everyday! I think the high price tag is worth it because you get your money’s worth everyday. I have stickers on mine to match the color because I like the way it looks. But, it also shows things I like on it and gives it a more personalized touch.”

Hydro Flask was the first insulated water bottle to be launched in 2009. The hydro flask brand is worth nearly $210 million today.
