FC boys soccer honors four senior players at the annual soccer senior night, Feb. 8. Seniors include Reese Brown, Aaron LaCroix and senior captains Jacob Scully and Alexander Rurik.

FC defeats the Laton Mustangs, 6-0, in their home game, Feb. 8. FC boys soccer went 9-0 in league taking first place in the East Sierra League.

Favorite part about soccer?

My favorite part about soccer is the love of the game and clean sheet games.

Most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment was the fight at Minarets during my freshmen year or beating Fowler at Fowler and scoring the winning goal.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank God for the ability to play for as long as I have and a working body. My parents for continuous love and support and my family for being their for me. Also my grandparents for always trying to come to my games and my friends and teammates for being their for me.

My favorite part about soccer is combination play with passing and assisting.

Most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment is the overtime win against WCPA.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank my teammates and Coach Ramon for a memorable senior season.

My favorite part about soccer is winning close games.

Most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment was riding to the hospital with Coach Ramon after breaking my ankle.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank my parents for having me play soccer throughout high school and Coach Ramon for changing the program for the better.

My favorite part about soccer is getting to score occasionally.

Most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment is when I caused a PK in the box which resulted in an epic save by Reese.

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank my family, friends, and coach for all of their support and making me a better player.

Avery Jones, ‘20, recently developed a love of photography after returning from a missions trip to Johannesburg, South Africa. Through door to door ministry and running kids camps, Jones gained a deeper understanding that people simply need to be loved. Soccer keeps her driven as she has played since six years old. Also a part of CSF, and a member of her school's ASB leadership council, Avery mentors junior high girls all year long in a campus club called Sister to Sister. Jones plans on becoming a nurse at a four-year university after spending a year as a part time missionary in South Africa.
