About Julia Fikse

Third year photojournalist, Julia Fikse, ‘19, continues her dream of capturing a moment through the lens of a camera. She has grown to love capturing emotion in sports, school, community events and portraits as a hobby and future career. Involvements in volleyball, basketball, CSF and mentoring a girls group keeps Fikse on her toes. Great photography can evoke emotion and catalogue a moment in time. This became the foundational goal that drives her to excel. Upon graduating, Fikse hopes to major in interior design and use her photographic skills to earn an income while attending a university.
