“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” hit theaters, Oct. 18th. The film, produced by Walt Disney Studios and directed by Joachim Rønning, is a sequel to the original “Maleficent” film released in 2014, which grossed just under 800 million dollars. The film, like the first, follows the journey of the infamous Disney villain who first appeared in the original “Sleeping Beauty” movie from 1959.

As students tour college campuses and apply for scholarships, the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) plays a vital role in determining their admission and readiness for college. Taken as a paper test, the exam is required to apply for colleges. In 2016, the SAT developed a new grading system. In 2018, 2.1 million students took the test, and the average score was 1068 out of 1600. Only 47% of the test scores met the college readiness goal ranges.
Serving others does not mean having to travel on a plane to a third world country. It does not mean having to leave your city and family behind. Serving God and others can be done in any and every neighborhood
Originating in Visalia, Central Valley restaurant Farm Fresh Bowls moved to Campus Pointe near Fresno State University, Aug. 2016. Located at the end of the popular college strip, Farm Fresh Bowls offers various healthy breakfast and lunch options. Their menu ranges from açaí bowls to salads and seasonal options. The restaurant provides a spacious atmosphere but includes very limited seating. Finding a table is easy depending on the time of day and day of the week. Saturdays present more of a challenge to find seating, but weekdays have more available space.
When I was little the doctors told my parents that I would never learn the basic skill of talking. Instead, my family worked very hard to make sure that didn’t happen. I spoke in front of the Fresno Unified School District’s Board of Education, on April 3rd, in support of Birney Elementary School’s Oral Deaf Education program. There has been talk of shutting down the oral education program at Birney and combining it with a sign based program at Norseman.
California’s coastline is 840 miles long and is home to over 420 public beaches. All these beaches are different in many ways and have different highlights that entice visitors. Travel websites seem to consistently mention five of these 420+ beaches as favorites, for the scenery and atmosphere they provide.
California is home to many different amusement parks, some of which are dedicated to a theme, location, or company, they all have a variety of attractions. The Golden State is home to around 45 different theme parks. All of which range in size, price, popularity, and attractions.
How people receive their news has changed drastically over the years. It started with word of mouth, led to printed news, to broadcast, and now it is currently the digital era of news, with the influences of social media. But there are some people in the T.V. broadcast era of news, that truly paved the way and opened doors for those in the digital world today.
