Sixty five percent of people are visual learners. Because of this statistic, programs like Google Slides, PowerPoint and Prezi are used in classrooms to convey lesson plans. However, creating educational images is not only for teachers. Students can join in the visual education process by using graphics in the classroom to present their information in a professional way. Infographics are visual representations of data or topics. Their goal is to present large quantities of information in an easy to understand and enjoyable image.
You arrive home late from your basketball game with three papers due tomorrow, and finals within the next two days. Daunted by the seemingly impossible task ahead, you turn to searching published works on the internet. Copying and pasting three or four different phrases, you doubt your teacher will even notice.
The high school and middle school drama class prepare for their Christmas production, “The Grinch”, Dec. 3 and 11. Their first performance will be in the Student Ministry Center (SMC) for all campus elementary students from 2-2:45 p.m. The second and third shows are at West Fresno Elementary School for students that attend that school.
Fresno Christian’s crew of custodians serve the campus daily by cleaning bathrooms, classrooms, hallways and more, earning them the title of “Real FC Heroes.” While National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day falls once a year on Oct. 2, Director of Business Operations and employee of 21-years Lisa Raynes believes the campus should show their appreciation every day.
Sports opportunities engage 100 middle school players this fall, including volleyball, flag football, golf and cheer. Both familiar and unfamiliar sports prepare young athletes for success in high school.
