About Wesley Hinton

Video journalist and vice president of the student body, Wesley Hinton, ‘20, plans to hone his filmmaking skills over the ‘19-’20 school year. If it’s a Saturday or merely a half day at school, it’s likely you’ll find him with his family and friends at Millerton Lake, wakesurfing. Hinton loves playing keyboard for the school worship team, and leading worship at his church. It’s one of his passions. He also loves serving the community through mentoring junior high boys at Fresno Christian in Brother to Brother, a social mentoring program designed to build relationships and school community. This summer, Hinton had the opportunity to travel to India on a mission trip, where he was able to gain new perspectives and be a witness for Christ. Aspiring to eventually own a business, Hinton knows video experience will help him with marketing. Hinton also strives to use film to uncover truth and speak life to the community. On The Feather, Hinton hopes to improve his camera, video and journalistic skills.
