Fall concert introduces chamber choir, new music, Oct. 21

As the leaves change colors and pumpkin patches pop up around town, the FC choir groups prepare for their fall concert, Oct. 21. Over 120 musicians plan to perform throughout the evening in the Peoples Church main auditorium, 7 p.m. The purpose of the fall concert is to present the songs that choir students have been learning since school started. Many singers gather motivation to prepare themselves for a performance in front of their home audience.

2nd annual Eagle Fest unites FCS community, benefits campus programs

Eagle Fest returns to the FCS community, Sept. 20. The event introduces food, drinks, and games all to benefit various programs within the school. The first annual Eagle Fest in 2018, welcomed hundreds of students and families. Admission is free, and focuses on bringing together the school with a festival feel and activities. 

BREAKING: Seniors honored during 38th annual graduation

With the school year wrapping up, faculty and students begin to prepare for FCS’ 38th annual graduation. With students accruing over 2.1 million dollars in scholarships, the graduation will send off 41 seniors and 10 “lifers”. Held on the last day of school, graduation will be in the Peoples Church main auditorium, starting at 7 p.m.

“I truly that the sport of cheer is the most important sport that a girl can do as far as growth,” Villines said. “It forces you to be out in front of a crowd and it forces you to make eye contact with people.
