For their first session at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 87th annual Spring National Convention, editor-in-chief Austin Ward, ’11, left, and adviser Greg Stobbe discuss how to make online newspapers readable, March 17.
Starting at 1:30 p.m., the duo presented several techniques, such as including pull-out quotes and chunking text, to make online articles look easier to read. An audience of about 30 students gathered in Room 105 of Jerome Greene Hall, the main building of Columbia Law School, to hear the presentation and to ask questions.
